Sometimes cold weather can be fun and even romantic when you’re on a date. However, sometimes when the weather is just too cold, you don’t really want to leave the house. You may be wondering what you can do indoors on a date, especially if you’ve things already done the homemade dinner and DVD routine. Luckily, for you there is still plenty of other stuff, you can do during an indoor date that you may not have even considered. The next time the two of you want to have fun, but don’t want to weather the elements, surprise her with a few indoor date ideas.
Do You Fondue?
One great way to both surprise and impress her is by enjoying some fondue while watching a marathon. Many fondue sets are fairly inexpensive and extremely easy to use. If the two of you haven’t eaten dinner, try for cheese fondue. You can dip practically anything that you’d want to eat with melted cheese. If you’ve already had dinner, try opting for chocolate fondue, which can add a romantic element to your date.
You can enjoy your fondue while sitting at a table, but we suggest making yourself a space on the floor in front of the television. Of course, you want to take the necessary precautions if you’re going to go this route. The last thing you want is to set something on fire.
Make sure to have a genre or theme night for your marathon. We recommend horror films or chick flicks to get her snuggled up close with you. You probably don’t want to have a marathon with too many drama movies. It usually has the opposite effect of what you’re going for.
Make it a Game Night
Another great way to make your indoor date memorable is by offering tons of games for you and her to play. When we say games, we don’t mean video games. Even if she does like video games, do not rely on this as your only source of entertainment. You want to have several different games that the two of you can play. While popular games like Monopoly and various card games are great, you can also add games like Scattergories, Pictureka, and a variety of trivia games that will bring get both of you thinking and talking.
You can even take some time to introduce her to classic games like Charades or Win, Lose, or Draw. If classic games aren’t really your speed, have some fun with Cards Against Humanity. However, you want to make sure you understand her personality and sense of humor before playing this game with her, as it can be pretty offensive to some people.
There is honestly no limit to the games you can play and what you can do. If you need more space, simply rearrange your furniture so that the two of you have all the space you need.
If you’ve played your cards right and she’s in the mood, finish your last game off with some naked Twister. You can even add body paint for a fun and messy end to your indoor date.
