This is, unfortunately, another site that just falls short of every mark that we set for it. MatchMaker.com tries to make out as being a well-rounded dating site, but in reality, it’s the kind of site that’s just full of vapid fakes from top to bottom.
It doesn’t take much to uncover that side of it, either.
When it comes to trying to make MatchMaker.com work…just don’t. There’s really not much of anything going on with this site unless you happen to enjoy the company of spam bots. Seriously, we ended up with more spam courtesy of this site than any other that we’ve tried.
Our e-mails were full of spam mail, not actual responses from the ladies on here. That’s a big problem, first of all, because we actually wanted to have a date with these women. It made us pretty disappointed with our MatchMaker rating test-run before we were anywhere close to being finished.
It doesn’t get any better, either.
The more we poked and prodded at this site, the more that it ended up breaking. The layout on this site is particularly bad, and honestly, we’re pretty sure that it’s put on by the same people that do a number of decidedly awful websites.
You just aren’t going to get a date on here. It didn’t matter how hard we tried to make it work–MatchMaker scams came crawling out of the cracks, and in general, this site just left us scratching our heads, wondering how anyone could really use this site for any sort of real purpose.
We Tried MatchMaker.com for 3 Months: What the Results Revealed
We ended up spending a total of 3 months on our MatchMaker rating, and during that time, we sent out a total of 180 e-mails out to ladies that we met on this site. Every single e-mail was personalized to their profiles, too.
Usually, we hope that makes a difference.
By having personalized e-mails, we hope to really set a standard for our dating experience. In the case of this site, however, we were just hoping we wouldn’t come across as more MatchMaker scams.
The results weren’t good.
Out of those 180 e-mails, we ended up receiving a deplorable 80 e-mails in response. This really made us just want to sigh and shake our heads, because seriously–this site couldn’t even meet our minimum of 90 e-mails.
From those 80 e-mails, we only had two women want to go out with us. Neither of them showed up, either, so we were ultimately extremely disappointed in the quality of this site.
It’s hard not to be, really, when you consider the standards that GOOD sites have been setting for us lately.
What Doesn’t Work about MatchMaker.com – Signs You Might Be Facing a MatchMaker.com Scam
This site has an awful layout, and it isn’t particularly apologetic about it. The main problem that we had with this site is that the navigation is very poorly designed, and that made it very difficult for us to get around on the site, let alone find any potential dates.
Poor navigation really turns away customers.
If people can’t figure out how to make a site work for them, they’re just not going to stick around. That’s why this site is basically dead in the water, and why it’s never going to get any better unless they really revamp a lot of this site’s layout in general.

MatchMaker.com Conclusion: Our Last Call on Using MatchMaker.com for Online Dating
Considering our results, we can’t even begin to recommend MatchMaker.com as a site for actual dating experiences. It’s just not going to work for you courtesy of the fact it’s covered in scams, and on top of that, very guilty of sending out a lot of spam mail.
Instead, we highly recommend you check out FuckBookNet. It’s the kind of site you’ll actually end up having some fun on.
